Cobalt

Cobalt is a chemical element with the symbol Co and atomic number 27. It is found in the Earth’s crust only in a chemically combined form, save for small deposits found in alloys of natural meteoric iron. Cobalt compounds have been used for centuries to impart a rich blue color to glass, glazes, and ceramics. Cobalt has been detected in Egyptian sculpture, Persian jewelry from the third millennium BC. According to USGS (United States Geological Survey) DR Congo has the most Cobalt productions in the world, which is 64k and reserves in tonnes 3.5 millions.
